The last several days have been nothing short of tiring. Spent the weekend partying it up in LA (love Halloween XD) and then there was the election yesterday which was disappointing to say the least... Ah yes, another 4 glorious years with President Bush... yeah right.

Anyway, on to the fun stuff ^^ Picked up HTY and Margaret 23 yesterday. Read thru furuba chp. 101 and scanned it. I'm also putting up scans for the latest chps. of Love Monster and Parfait Tic! if anyone's interested. Going to pick up WJ 50 on thurs. or fri. so I'll have scans of Poft and other series up by then. Speaking of Poft, if you haven't watched ep. 159, trust me when I say that you're not missing much. The quality of the show has slowly deteriorated since the Hyoutei arc and the plot seems to have been lost in all those stupid filler eps. *sigh* so disappointing... Oh yeah, I was watching the new Haruka ep. and the part where Akane falls off the side of the bridge and Yorihisa and Tenma are screaming her name... I had deja vu b/c that scene was done almost exactly the same as the ep. when Tohru and the others go to the lake and she freaks out b/c of "Jason" and trips and both Yuki and Kyou immediately dive after her... well yah, I think the reason why was b/c Seki Tomokazu does the voice of Tenma and Kyou... XD

About the scans: I want to make it very clear to everyone that dls the scans that I put up that they are for personal use only and are not to be used for scanlations and are not to be distributed without my consent. I support the authors/artists by buying their stuff so you all should do the same. If I catch anyone doing it, then I'll just stop sharing; simple as that. On a lighter note, if there's a particular series you'd like to see scans of, let me know and I'll try my best to get them if I have the time ^_^

Again, forgive me if anything is wrong. It's 5 am in the morning and I have insomnia, but am fucking tired... Anyway... ^_^ Chapter 101 starts off in the past. A young Akito asks Shigure if he loves her. Shigure asks if she's been walking around asking the other juunishi that. Akito says she's the one asking the question. And she asks Shigure again, "do you love me?" Shigure gives her an amused expression. He walks outside and picks a flower off a bush and hands it to Akito. He leans in close to her and.... Shigure's words are kind of sketchy to me (and anyone can correct me if I'm wrong) but I think he says that he thinks of her more than anyone else and that's the "unshakeable??" truth that he loves her.

Anyway back to the present Akito's sitting next to Kureno in a car and they're both wearing suits. Akito seemed to have been dozing off. Kureno tells her that they'll be arriving at the restaraunt soon. Everyone else from the main house is already there and they're waiting for Akito. Scene changes to Tohru and Yuki doing the dishes. Tohru accidently blurts out Rin's name and Yuki's like "eh? Rin? What's the matter with Rin?" Tohru spazzes a little and tells Yuki it's nothing really, she was just thinking about something that's all. Yuki goes ah, I see, I was a little surprised. Tohru's thinking to herself and how she blurted out what she was thinking. She then thinks about Rin and how she's also trying to find a way to break the curse. Tohru likes, "come to think of it, I haven't seen her since the first several days of the New Year." Tohru wonders what this feeling of uneasiness is. The phone's ringing and Kyou picks it up. He lets Tohru and Yuki know that Shigure's going to be late. Yuki says something about Shigure having dinner with the people in charge?? Is it just me or does Kyou seem a bit more... subdued than he used to be? Anyway, Tohru's still thinking about Rin and thinks that she should visit her. Apparently Rin's high school is next to Kisa's junior high according to Tohru.

Next scene is of Mi-chan and she's kneeling outside the restaraunt, I think. She's on the phone with Shigure... I think XD And the waitresses/hostesses are giving her weird looks 'cause she's screaming into the phone. She's blabbering about Shigure coming to help her and how she thought she could work through tonight unscathed and then something about having no confidence. O_o Shigure says that she's worrying too much and she's in charge of Shigure (he says Sohma-sensei, but I'm assuming he's referring to himself... I hope, otherwise I'm confused). Anyway, Shigure tells her she better not run off. Mi-chan's walking thru the restaraunt and she sees Shigure talking to a couple. Shigure spots her and tells the couple he's going. The woman stops her and asks him if he's going to greet Akito. Shigure says no and then walks off with Mi-chan. Mi-chan asks him if he knows that couple and that shouldn't he drink with them... Shigure says "Are you kidding? What's the fun in drinking with my parents?" Mi-chan freaks out, "eeeeehhhh?! Your parents?!" Shigure's like yah sorry, too bad they're here. Mi-chan then says she wants to take a good look at his parent's face (I think she wants to who's responsible for Shigure, lol). Shigure tells her to stop it and that tonight it's the very important people of the mainhouse that are having this meeting. Mi-chan's like the Sohma family really is amazing. Shigure agrees and makes a comment about Ri-chan (something about difference in social status and intensity or something...). Mi-chan flips out. Akito walks in with Kureno following her and Shigure smiles and tells Mi-chan the main person has arrived. It looks like Shigure's mother is talking to Akito. Mi-chan comments on how Akito looks so young. Shigure's like you say he's young but he's already twenty. Mi-chan's like twenty isn't young? And she also says what a beautiful person he is. Shigure turns to leave wondering where they should go drink. Shigure turns back for a sec and sees Akito watching him and Shigure returns it with one of his creepy smiles. Shigure's mother says she told him to greet Akito but... and then she asks if they should follow/go after him. Akito says, "it's fine. Let's go Kureno."

We jump back to the phone conversation that Kureno and Shigure had. I'm assuming it's the one before Kureno went to see Tohru, or it could be another time, I can't tell. Anyway, they're talking about Akito and Kureno tells Shigure not to be shocked but did he notice how Kureno's free from the curse. Shigure's like but you don't know the reason why, what a shame. Okay, the next part had me kind of thinking. Kureno says that he understands Shigure's feeling and that he (Shigure) hates him. Shigure says he does hate Kureno. He hates him very much. All right, what I'm curious about is the way Kureno addressed Shigure. Normally, Kureno calls Shigure "Shigure-niisan" and Hatori "Hatori-niisan", etc... However, during this conversation Kureno just calls Shigure "niisan" which got me wondering what kind of relationship those two have. I mean it's a long shot, but they could be brothers. In a few chapters back when Kureno was telling Tohru about the day that they all woke up crying and went to go see Ren, there's a shot of Kureno standing behind Shigure (I think) and he's tugging on the back of his shirt... Anyway, I could be wrong, and I probably am overthinking this, but that little detail just caught my attention ^^ Okay back to the story...

Akito returns to the main house where everyone greets her. A maid whispers to Akito while Kureno watches in the foreground. She goes to her room and sees Shigure standing by the open window. He turns and welcomes her back. She seems a bit surprised and Shigure asks if she had fun with everyone at the dinner. Akito looks away while Shigure makes a comment about his attire. Akito asks who that woman was that she saw him with. Shigure says she's someone he works with. Akito asks if he's slept with her. Shigure's like no, that's harsh. Akito sheds her suit jacket and responds with saying is that so. I'd thought you'd sleep with any woman. Shigure responds by stating how Akito's talking nonsense. Akito then says, "but didn't you sleep with that woman?" Shigure's like, "that woman. Which woman?" Akito flips out and screams "Ren!!" Shigure gives her a confused look. He then says it's old news and wasn't she the one who told him to leave the main house which is the reason why he's living outside now. Akito's still flipping out and we see different panels of shigure looking like he's saying goodbye to Akito and then a shot of Ren. Shigure stops Akito's tirade by repeating what he said to her before (the thing he said at the beginning). Akito looks surprised. Shigure then says something that really shocks her. The reason why he slept with Ren is because she slept with Kureno. Akito promptly flips out again and says is it my fault?! It's not my fault!! Then there's a small snippet of Shigure and Kureno's conversation. Shigure's talking and he says don't misunderstand me Kureno. I love Akito, before and even now I love her. I love her so much. Akito's still screaming how she's special and whatever she does with her "things", she is free to do. Shigure then gives her this really cold, kind of vacant stare. Shigure's like let's stop this conversation. He's about ready to leave when Akito moves forward and kisses him. Shigure stands there and does nothing for a bit. Akito then says something about using her as a woman. He tugs her tie loose and brings her to the floor.

Scene switches back to the past and Shigure is holding Akito's hand and brings it to the area of his chest over his heart. "You're right here. You'll forever be right here. I always think of you. I want to see you." He then gives her the sweetest smile that I've ever seen on his face and Akito blushes prettily. Back to the present, Akito's laying on the floor and Shigure covers her with his Yukata. He watches her and gently touches her hand. Scene changes to Tohru and she's at Rin's school. She asks a couple of girls about her. They're like, "Sohma Isuzu? Yeah, we're in the same class, but she hasn't come to school for a while." Apparently Rin's been readmitted to the hospital. Tohru thanks them, but the two girls keep talking on about Rin might having trouble graduating. And about her family having money and then commenting about Tohru being one of Rin's friends. One of the girls is surprised she actually has friends. Chapter ends with pictures of the main house, someone standing behind a window and a young Shigure sitting on the floor, and looking out the open doors.

I really enjoyed this chapter, b/c I like to see more of evil, conniving Shigure XD We're finally able to understand Shigure and his motives a little bit better. I never took Shigure as the possessive or obsessive type, but it supports my whole opinion of Shigure as someone who always does something for a reason. That dream that he had all those years ago, the one that he would fullfill at all costs, was it about Akito? I mean does he really love her or is he just using her like he's using the rest of his family and Tohru. Dude, but the more I think about it, it's as if Shigure really truly is in love with Akito and is doing everything he can to get her for himself. But then again, is Akito really Shigure's motivation for doing whatever he's done or is planning on doing? And does he care about breaking the curse. Anyway, I liked this chapter... damn Shigure is such a man-whore but even so I love him still <3 Although I'm still not to keen on this whole ShigurexAkito relationship and the whole sleeping with Ren thing was kind of.... eww.... but are Akito and Shigure's feelings mutual, b/c we all know how possessive Akito is and compared to Shigure I think Akito is far less deceptive. She's just rather cruel ^^ But I mean she did kick him out of the main house b/c he slept with Ren and maybe that's why she doesn't like it when any of the male Juunishi are around Ren (i.e. like with what happened with Hatori). Speaking of Hatori, I wonder how much he knows about all of this?? Anyway, no furuba in the next HTY; Chp. 102 comes out 12/4. Damn... I can't believe it's almost dec. This year's gone by so fast >.<
